Tips For Beauty-Home Remedy


HAIR FALL
Although hair is not essential to life, it is of sufficient cosmetic concern to provoke anxiety in anyone when it starts thinning, falling, or disappearing. To a woman, the sight of a comb or brush covered with lost hair can cause intense mental strain. The average growth rate is about 1.2 cm per month, growing fastest on women between fifteen to thirty years of age.

DRY HAIR



The next time you’re longing for the spa, head to your kitchen instead. Chances are it’s stocked with the necessities you need to make many problem-solving beauty and skin-care treatments, masks and scrubs. All you need are a few minutes and a handful of everyday ingredients. You may never look at your fridge the same way again.
HOME REMEDIES
  • A vigorous rubbing of the scalp with fingers after washing the hair with cold water is one of the most effective among the several home remedies for the prevention and treatment of hair loss. The scalp should be rubbed vigorously till it starts to tingle with the heat.
  • The application of coconut milk all over the scalp and massaging it into the hair roots is also beneficial in the treatment of hair loss.
  • Lettuce is useful in preventing hair loss. A mixture of lettuce and spinach juice is believed to help the growth of hair if taken to the extent to half a liter a day
REMEDY –Dry Hair
An avocado hair mask. Thanks to its high fat and protein content, “avocado is very nourishing, just the thing for taming frizz,” says makeup artist David Goveia, who's beautified the likes of Kate Moss and Cameron Diaz.

What you need: Half of a ripe peeled avocado, one egg and two tablespoons of wheat germ oil. (You can also substitute wheat germ oil for olive or castor oil.)

Making it: In a small bowl, mash the avocado until it's smooth. Then add the egg and oil and blend well.

Using it: Massage the mixture to dry hair, starting from the ends up. Once you've applied it all, cover your head with a shower cap or small plastic bag, grab a book and set the timer for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo out. Note: You can increase the conditioning benefits by wrapping a warm, moist towel around your head while you wait.

How often to use it: For dry and damaged hair, once a week will help get it back on track. If it's normal to oily, twice a month is recommended. 


PIMPLE   

Acne treatment (naturally at home or otherwise) is the most sought after treatment among the younger generation. Acne is a common and chronic skin disorder. It is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles. The lesions are usually found on the skin of the face, neck, chest and shoulders. Nearly six out of ten young people between the ages of twelve and twenty-four suffer from some degree of acne. Acne causes a great deal of embarrassment at an age when people tend to be sensitive about their personal appearance.

HOME REMEDIES
Homemade Acne Treatment with orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece stone and apply on acne affected areas. You can make a face scrub out of gram flour and orange peels. This is often used as one of the most effective home remedies for pimples and acne.
• Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results. If you have very sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with an equal amount of fresh mint leaf juice as this will help to reduce inflammation. This is also one of the popular home remedies for blackheads.
• Garlic has been used successfully to cure acne. Rub with raw garlic several times a day. Garlic is known to cure the toughest of acne problems.
• Grated cucumber applied over the face, eyes, and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes has been found effective. It is the best tonic for your complexion. Its regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.


OVER WEIGHT

Obesity is a physical condition that results from excessive storage of fat in the body. Obesity has been defined as a weight more than 20% above what is considered normal as per the body mass index, which is calculated from an individual's age, height, and weight. Presence of fat tissue is essential as natural energy reserve in our bodies. But excess fat tissues result in obesity and causes health disorders. Every person specially women wants to look slimller.

HOME REMEDIES
  • Fasting on lime juice-honey water is highly beneficial in the treatment of obesity. In this mode of treatment, one teaspoon of fresh honey should be mixed with the juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water and taken at regular intervals.
  • Trifala, an herbal combination of Amalekite, bibbitaki, and haritaki is good for losing weight.
The leaves of jujube or Indian plum are another valuable remedy for obesity. A handful of leaves should be soaked overnight in water and this water should be taken in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach. This treatment should be continued for at least one month to achieve beneficial results.


Dry patches on knees, elbows and feet

REMEDY: A coffee, sugar and vanilla scrub. “Coffee has strong antioxidant properties,” says makeup artist Diana Carreiro, who’s worked on celebs like Chantal Kreviazuk and Mira Sorvino. Because of this, it’s a good choice for the rougher skin on your body, while sugar works as a light manual exfoliator to smooth skin. Vanilla extract adds a soothing scent for at-home aromatherapy.

What you need: A quarter-cup of olive oil, one teaspoon of vanilla extract (non-artificial extract is best), half a cup of fresh coffee grinds and one cup of sugar.
Making it: In a small glass or ceramic bowl, combine olive oil and vanilla extract. In a separate medium bowl or plastic container, mix grinds (use them within 20 minutes of brewing for maximum benefits) with sugar. Add the mixtures together, blending into thick paste.

Using it: In the shower, let skin soften under warm water for 5-10 minutes. Scoop out a small handful of the scrub and massage it in circular motions from your limbs to your heart to increase circulation. Rinse and follow with a gentle shower gel to remove excess residue. Note: Do not use this scrub on your face or on any broken or sensitive skin.

How often to use it: Once a week is best for regular skin, says Carreiro. If your skin is quite dry and bumpy, twice a week is recommended.


For Glowing Skin

Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetable and drink 6-8 glasses of water in a day to keep the body fit from inside. Remedy

1.Egg Yolk  : The yellow part of the egg which is called as an egg yolk, is excellent for glowing skin. Take one egg yolk mix ½ olive oil and 4-5 drops of lemon. Apply it on the skin. Keep it for 15 minutes and rinse it off. In case the pack dries up prior to the set time of 15 minutes then also wash it off. Egg packs must be cleaned immediately once it dries up . It is best for normal skin and dry skin.


2.Banana:  Take one tablespoon well mashed fully ripped banana and ½ teaspoon honey. Mix both together and apply it on the face. Then after 15 minutes clean skin with lukewarm water. This can be used once in two days for best results.


3.Orange: Take out the juice of half orange. Add 2 teaspoon of curd and mix well. Apply the mixture on the face and leave it . In the course of 20 minutes orange juice and curd shall penetrate deep inside the skin layers and fulfill all skin nutrient requirements. Later rinse the applied pack and pat dry your skin. Glow shall come on the skin with regular use of the pack.


4. Cucumber: Cucumber replaces the dull skin with glowing skin. Grate one cucumber and squeeze out its juice. Dab this freshly prepared cucumber juice on the face and neck with a cotton ball. Put the left behind grated cucumber on the eyes. Re-apply the juice on the skin 2-3 times in the span of 20 minutes. Later wash the skin with water. Use it everyday to get a wonderful glowing face.
